About Hi, I’m Marisa Switzer. For a long time, I thought I built brands.
And for more than a decade, that’s what I told people I did—helping founders turn ideas into businesses people recognized, connected with, and remembered.
From the outside, it looked like branding.
But what I loved most wasn’t the branding itself.
It was sitting with a founder and helping her make sense of her ideas—watching her move from uncertainty to clarity, and uncovering not just what she wanted to build, but why it mattered.
Because once that clarity was there, everything else followed.
Then life asked me to live my own philosophy.
Motherhood changed how I defined success. It led me to ask the same questions my clients had been asking for years:
What am I really building? What kind of life do I want? What is all of this for?
And in that season, something became clear:
The quality of what we build is limited by the clarity of who we’re becoming.
Businesses don’t exist apart from us—they reflect our values, priorities, and the lives we’re trying to create.
That’s why I don’t believe branding starts with design.
I believe it starts with clarity.
Today, I help founders build businesses worthy of the person they’re becoming—whether that means bringing a long-held idea to life or strengthening the foundation for what’s next.
Because the business you build won’t just shape your career.
It will shape who you become.
And I can’t think of more meaningful work than helping someone build that well.
